Developed by Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), working with local partners, The New Markets Programme is a new way for local businesses to access high value, commercial business advice, tailored to your business needs and chosen by you.

Eligible businesses can receive a 35% contribution to the cost of commercial advice that supports business growth, procured through this programme.

Who can benefit?

Support is available to growing businesses with fewer than 250 employees and less than £42m turnover in the Local Authority areas of Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens, and Wirral.

What support is available?

Initial support such as business needs assessment; brokerage and attendance at supply chain events are typically free of charge.

Subject to your eligibility- you can receive a 35% contribution to the cost of commercial advice in a broad range of disciplines that can enable your business to grow including (but not limited to):

  • Financial Advice-Investment readiness, Business Planning, Corporate Finance etc
  • Applied R&D
  • Legal Advice- Employment, Contracts, IP, etc
  • Product/Service Development & Diversification
  • Sales & Marketing
  • Supply Chain Development
  • Interim Sales and Finance Management
  • Export Development
