There is now more freedom when deciding what to do with your pension pot. Pension Wise is a new government service that can help you to go through your options so you can make informed decisions that are right for you and your family.
If you are:
- 50 or over, and
- have a pension based on how much has been paid into your pot(s) (a defined contribution pension)
you can get information and guidance online at www.pensionwise.gov.uk. You can also book an appointment with a guidance specialist face to face at Citizens Advice.
