On Tuesday 30 April we held a coffee morning here at our office in Liverpool City Centre in aid of local charity Vision4Children. Based at Alder Hey Hospital, Vision4Children is an international charity focussed solely on reducing unnecessary childhood blindness in the UK and worldwide, through helping parents in the UK, creating sustainable eye care programmes in developing countries, and carrying out vital research.
All the team at BWMacfarlane donated cakes and other goodies to sell and we raised £84.10. Vision4Children Fundraising Manager Hazel Russell came along to tell us a little about the charity and was very impressed at both the amount of cake eaten and the money raised!
