Liverpool chartered accountancy firm BWMacfarlane LLP is proud to welcome four new junior members to their team.
Two of our new starters are apprentices from Liverpool Chamber Training, and are working to gain their NVQ Level 2 Business Administration qualification. Hayley Gillespie has taken on an Administration and Support role within the company, whilst Jessica Bennett has taken on an Administration and Marketing Assistant role. The Apprenticeship Scheme gives the opportunity to earn a real salary, work for an actual employer and gain a recognised and respected national qualification whilst gaining valuable experience and skills.
Another apprentice, Calum Griffin-Mulraney has joined from the Liverpool Community College and is in the process of completing his NVQ Level 3 in Accountancy. Calum is working as an Accounts Junior in the Accounts and Audit Team.
Also strengthening our Accounts and Audit team is Julian Mainon who has joined BWMacfarlane from SB&P in Bootle. He is currently working towards his ACCA qualification.
“The reality is that it is especially tough for young people to get a foot on the ladder in the current economic climate and this is an affordable way of giving them a chance to gain relevant experience and qualifications at the same time and perhaps even find a career path for life.” Peter Taaffe, Managing Partner said, “We find apprenticeships and trainee schemes provide a real opportunity for the individuals to earn a wage as they learn and gain practical skills in the workplace whilst benefiting the firm with valuable junior level support and facilitating all- round career progression.”
