If you are using Sage Instant Accounts 2012 and/or Sage 50 Accounts 2013, Sage are advising that they are beginning to withdraw support for their version of the software.
What does this mean?
As technology continues to change so rapidly it is standard practice in the industry for companies to withdraw support from older versions of software to focus on improvements and innovation.
How will this affect you?
Don’t worry – their software will continue to work as normal. Once support is withdrawn however, then you would have to pay the full RRP to upgrade the software, instead of the lower upgrade prices which you qualify for now.
It also means that Sage will be withdrawing updates and support for this software. Operating unsupported software can lead to potential issues with compatibility, so it’s always good to keep up to date.
What should I do next?
Sage have some exclusive limited-time offers for existing customers to help you to get up to date. Sage can also help you to get set up with the new software, so you don’t have to worry about disruption to your business.
