Liverpool City Council have announced that the opening date of the new two-year Our Liverpool Grant Programme 2019/21 is Monday 4th February with a closing date of midday Monday 4th March. Once the Grant is ‘live’, the Application Pack and Guidance document will be available to download via the Liverpool City Council webpage link:

The Grant is open to voluntary and community organisations across Liverpool who can demonstrate that they are able to help to achieve the aims and objectives of the Our Liverpool Outcome Framework (available within the pack). It will fund organisations who can demonstrate that they will meet the needs of people seeking asylum, refugees, vulnerable migrants and / or established communities.
The total funding available is £200,000 per year, for two years (i.e. £400,000 in total).
The thematic area objectives for 2019/21 are as follows:
- Thematic Area 1: Needs of People Seeking Asylum
- Thematic Area 2: Employability and Welfare Rights
- Thematic Area 3: Language
- Thematic Area 4: Health and Wellbeing
- Thematic Area 5: Communities Culture and Social Connections
The demand for this funding is expected to be high therefore not all projects will be successful.

Guidance briefing
LCVS is holding two guidance briefing sessions for groups interested in applying to this fund. These sessions will provide detail regarding the application process and offer guidance on how to complete an application.
The sessions are being held at LCVS, 151 Dale Street, Liverpool, L2 2AH:
- Tuesday 5th February, 10:00am-12:00pm
- Thursday 7th February, 5.30pm-7.30pm

Application Review Sessions
LCVS is providing application review sessions for anyone who requires specific advice and support about their application. Each session begins on the hour and lasts for one hour.
The sessions are being held hourly at LCVS, 151 Dale Street, Liverpool, L2 2AH:
- Friday 22nd February, 10:00am–4:00pm
- Monday 25th February, 1:00pm–4:00pm
- Tuesday 26th February, 10:00am–1:00pm
These free one hour surgeries are a chance for you to have your application reviewed and to receive face-to-face feedback on your application.
